Children's Programs

Gammelgården Museum LOVES to have children come onsite, visit, observe, ask questions and learn. We DO NOT charge for children under 12 for general tours. We offer programs for children…including the 2 day Comin' to Amerika where children "play immigrant" and several special event/focus/seasonal programs like Sausage making or Christmas crafts. Several of our programs are underwritten by gifts and grants to keep the cost minimal…our policy is to keep the children's programs VERY affordable so the children can learn the delight of their heritage and history.
