Comin' to Amerika 2009

Comin' to Amerika held in July 2009 found new immigrants very busy working on their houses, and going to school. Immigrants who had already settled in Scandia eagerly became sponsors to the new arrivals. It was an exciting year as everyone welcomed the new teacher, Miss Erickson. We have heard that in 2010 there may even be a wedding!

Everyone must work hard as families settle into their new life in America. Lots of chores to be done, houses to build and of course everyone must find work to survive in their new land. New friends are established as everyone works together to make life in America all they have dreamed it to be. The following pictures are from the August session of Comin' to Amerika 2009.
