Swedish Christmas Table – Cooking Class
November 11 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Spend a day in the Scandia Community Center kitchen learning to prepare holiday dishes still enjoyed in Sweden: Swedish ham and meatballs; pickled sides such as herring and beets; open-faced rye smørbrød; and saffron buns known as lussekatter. Finish with ris à lá malta (rice pudding) and mandelmusslor cookies.
Materials fee: $70.00
You will need the following items for this class:
- A variety of knives that you are comfortable working with
- 3 mixing bowls
- Cutting board
- Containers to bring home food you made in class
Lunch, snacks, and a water bottle since this is a full-day class.
