DESCRIPTION:New this year! Camp Tomte is an exciting two-day camp for 7-10 years olds who love crafts\, nature\, history\, and games. This fun camp is packed with hands-on activities to encourage a sense of exploration\, creativity\, and discovery. \nAugust 14th  \n10-10:30 – Arrival\, check-in\, Discovery Stations \n10:30-10:40 – Introduction/overview of the day \n10:40-12:00 – Make tomtes \n12:00-12:30 – Lunch and time with the Discovery Stations \n12:30-12:40 – Outdoor games \n12:40-12:55 – Find hidden tomtes in classroom \n12:55-1:25- Nature – focus on the restored prairie \n1:25-1:55 – Nature craft –  cyanotype prints \n1:55-2:10 – Nature journaling \n2:10-2:45 – Tomte Treasure Hunt – Church and Immigrant House \n2:45-3:00 –Gathering all items to take home.
