DESCRIPTION:Gammelgården Museum is removing and building a new emergency exit exterior staircase from the second floor to the ground. During this time\, the second floor of the museum – including the exhibits\, non-lending resource library\, and board & card game library – will be unavailable to the public. \nPlease visit us on Saturday\, August 15th from 10-4 to see the exhibits during Spelmansstämman\, our annual music\, dance\, and art festival. This year’s featured cultures are Swedish and Japanese!

Just as our exhibits showcase the skill and artistry of generations past\, this space invites today’s community to continue creating\, sharing knowledge\, and keeping those creative traditions alive. \n Everyone is welcome to join us and create\, no matter their skill level. \n Drawing • Painting • Knitting • Crocheting • Sewing • Journaling • Writing • & More \n✔ Bring your own materials and projects\n✔ Casual conversation welcome\n✔ Coworking and body doubling encouraged\n✔ Complimentary drinks available\n✔ No registration required\n✔ Free to attend \nAges 16+ (or accompanied by an adult) \nPlease bring projects that can be transported easily and use common sense to avoid disruptions and damage.
