SUMMARY:String Quilting
DESCRIPTION:String Quilting is a fun stash-buster technique where strings (aka strips) of fabric of any size are sewn to a foundation paper. The blocks are then put together in various ways\, creating truly unique projects. Precision cutting and sewing are not crucial; and both new and experienced quilters enjoy this type of quilting. \nIn this workshop\, you will learn the basic techniques of string quilting from Darlene Holtgreve and create a block. We also will discuss how to use various design elements to create larger projects. \nSkill Level: Beginner \nA supply list will be available after mid-February. \nRegister here: http://tinyurl.com/stringquilting \nCancellation Policy: Up to 3 weeks before the event – 50% refund. Under 3 weeks before the event\, no refunds.
