Behind-the-Scenes of Documenting Artifacts

    

Since November 2022, the Gammelgården staff has been photographing the museum’s artifacts to share on Facebook and on a searchable database on the website.

The photographs also will be used on a new museum collections software program that the museum is planning to install in January 2024.

Today, 32 of Gammelgården’s artifacts went off-site to be photographed.

 

The photos will be shared on the museum’s Facebook page on Tuesdays and Fridays, and will be posted on the website on a searchable database.
