Beginners – this is your opportunity to learn about macrame! Artist Cara Corey has designed this class to help students learn basic knots so they can create a decorative wall hanging.

Students will get lots of practice making lark’s head, square, half hitch, and other knots, then finish by combing out the ends. Creativity is encouraged, and students can choose from a variety of colors to make their wall hanging. Once you know how to make the knots, you can continue creating new designs at home.

Cara will provide the following materials:

• Wood dowel
• Macrame cord
• Comb
• Scissors, tape, and hooks to hold your work

This class is designed for those who are 12 years and older. Those who are 12-17 years old must register with another registered adult.
