Embroidery is an old art form. It can be purely decorative or used for mending. All you need is a needle, some type of thread, and a foundation to stitch into.

There are hundreds of stitch variations. Using different threads – silk vs. wool vs. cotton vs. synthetics – produces different looks.

Once you become familiar with the basic stitches, you can make your own embroidered needle book to store needles for your next project.

This class is for adults and 16+ year old youth, and costs $55 per person. The class fee includes all the materials (handouts with instructions, felt, embroidery floss, needles, and scissors). Please bring glasses and/or a magnifying device (if you need them).
