Trio of Wooden Spoons

This trio of spoons was carved from Basswood (Linden). Notice the right angle on the spoon bowl to the handle. This helped young children learn to eat with a spoon with less spilling. The spoons are an example of making the tools fit the task which was so much a part of Swedish engineering.
