Join us for a fun volunteer opportunity: carving pumpkins and making Halloween decor for the second annual Trick or Treat at Gammelgården event! There are two short shifts (2 hours each) to choose from – 11 to 1 or 1-3 – on Friday, October 23rd. Spend time using your creativity carving pumpkins and creating Halloween decor; and creating autumn- and Halloween-theme vignettes around the museum grounds and exterior of the historic buildings. placing straw bales, pumpkins, and gourds around the museum grounds, and creating a festive environment for this child-friendly, pet-friendly event.
Also divide candy and dog treats into bowls for volunteers at each historic building. Set up straw bales and pumpkins outside.
