Spend part of your morning (from 10 a.m.-12 noon) helping to assemble 200 nature and craft kits for Gammelgarden Museum. The craft and activity kits are focused on nature, heritage gardening, reuse, and resourcefulness which will be offered to youth at no cost during the summer.

The Lions also will be collecting items for Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia including:

• gift cards to purchase items for youth programs (Walmart, amazon.com, Menards, Joanns, and Prairie Restorations),
• 20 baskets with handles (to hold 3 strawberry plants),
• oversized lawn games,
• antique/old children’s games (jacks, marbles), and
• items for Girls & Dolls tea parties (china sets, china teapots, sets of 4-6 new cloth napkins, highchairs for dolls, white gloves in children’s sizes, and new rectangular tablecloths).

In addition to the kits and collection drive for Gammelgarden, there will be 14 other hands-on service projects and 20 collection drives to benefit a variety of organizations.

A free lunch will be served to volunteers from 12-1 p.m.
