Metal Ice Skates

These metal ice skates can be found in the barn at Gammelgården. In the first photograph, the front of the ice skates are to the top left of the image. The toe of one’s boots would have been placed here. The heel of one’s boots fit into the back.

If the ice skates need to be made longer or shorter, the long metal screw can be adjusted and the bolt tightened to hold the skates in place.
