Bring your creativity to Gammelgården as you learn about and create your own crop art canvas. Led by Ann Gentry, an award-winning crop artist, create an image using various shapes, colors, and sizes of seeds, legumes, and grains.
In this hands-on workshop (which includes all supplies), you will learn how to create a design, prepare the canvas, and apply the seeds and grains to make your unique image. This class is designed for beginner and experienced crafters who are 15+ years old.
Ann also will cover the standards for submitting crop art projects to the Minnesota State Fair if students are interested in their work to the Fair.
Note: The featured image of the 3D Dala horse was made by the instructor. However, during the class, students will create a two-dimensional crop art image on canvas.
