Swedish Folk Painting Class

Come join Ezra and August to learn about the practice of Dalmåning, a form of Swedish decorative folk painting used to adorn wooden furniture and painted on linen. You will begin to see these designs on many items around the museum!
Traditionally, paintings are done on stretched linen on a wooden frame, but we will be painting on a mixed fabric, stretched over cardboard. We will supply paint, brushes, and fabric to paint on, so you can take home a 4×6 inch painting!
