Three crews from Northern Bedrock will be replacing between 11-14 logs in the Pastor’s House on the northwest and southeast sides of the building. The logs have rotted from age as well as water damage, and will be replaced by 15 crew members.

The logs will be chainsawed to the approximate size. Once that step is complete, each log will be hand-hewn, as the Swedish immigrants did to build the Pastor’s Home in the 1800s.

The crews arrive on the 9th, work from the 10th-16th, and then pack up and travel back to Duluth on the 17th.
