Zippered Pouches with Kris Livingston

Learn two easy, but professional looking, methods to make zipper pouches. Pouches can be made in any size to hold make-up, pencils, craft supplies, ear buds, travel items, toys, or tools. Create one for yourself or make a custom gift for someone special.

Supply list: (Materials will make at least two pouches.)
- Sewing machine with a zipper foot.
- ¼-yard of outer fabric. You can use a quilting weight or a denim weight fabric.
- ¼-yard of lining fabric. Quilting weight fabric recommended.
- Optional: ¼ yard of cotton batting if you want to quilt the outside.
- Matching thread, scissors, and pins.
- A chopstick or other point turner.
- Zipper. (The zipper can be longer than needed and ends trimmed.)
You need at least a 24-inch zipper for the continuous zipper style, and at least a 10-inch zipper for the other.
