Powder Horn Flask

This powder horn flask was a small, portable container designed to hold gunpowder. It was indispensable for charging and priming firearms of all types. Without powder flasks, firearms were of little use to their owners.

Although the term powder horn is sometimes used for any kind of powder flask, it is a sub-category of flask made from a hollowed bovid horn.
